ELFEN LIED....a short, but well done series, violent as hell, but a surprisingly good morality tale (it's true!!).

This was a commission, done in pencil, pen and ink of Lucy/Nyu. It turned out all right, but I'm still not sure about the helmet/mask thing....

At any rate, please enjoy and comment!

I love it!
This may sound like a really stupid question,
But what pen did you use? x3

Imaging a place where homes are built on frames
Where they plant new bulbs along our graves, each year
With the fall, each year
With the fall, each year
Hmmm....no, that's not a stupid question! 8-)

I actually used Staedlers (I think that's the brand) technical pens 005, 03, 08, as well as a Sharpie. Also, I used a Paper Mate Medium point ball point pen, which is actually worked out well for this piece.

Hope this helps!
WOW! Cool +fav^^

Thanks! Although, I have to admit, as much as I love the series, there doesn't seem to be a lot of Elfen Lied fan art around....or maybe it's just me.
Love the lineart! The pose is really pretty subtle shading really works

Thanks...although I was terribly worried that the shading would not scan properly.

But then again, I'm a worry-wart (and have the gray hairs to prove it!!), so fussing over my art is expected...
Most scanners are programmed to be evil, concern is only natural :)
