Description
This was part of a series of illustrations I did in 2010 for a game company for their SF tabletop game. You might say it's a sequel (or a prequel) to Captain's orders. The pic Deep Space Rescue was also part of the series.
This shows the Captain from "Captain's Orders" in her quarters, thinking of...well, that's up to the viewer to decide. I had a great time working on this piece, and while drawing the spaceships and the planet was tough, I was very happy with how everything turned out. The picture was meant to be in black and white. I'm sure there are errors present, but I honestly feel that this is one of my better works.
Originally drawn in Carmine Red pencil, inked in Manga Studio and colored in PhotoShop.
