From the Vault: Kei re-design sheet

This is from 2011--the two concepts I had for a re-design of Kei from The Dirty Pair.  This was part of the work I did for Mike Dent's Dirty Pair project (but Mike can give a better explanation than me...).  The "recipe" for these was taking from Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's art for the novels, Tsukasa Dokite's designs for the original '80s anime, Adam Warren's designs from the early DP comics, and the rest is from me.  Mike picked the first design, and that's the one I used in the previously posted "Kei in action" pic.  As a fan of the Dirty Pair--the original anime, the novels, and the comics--I was very glad to work on these. 

(I admit that I have not seen Dirty Pair Flash! and I haven't read Hisao Tamaki's (Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope manga, Astrider Hugo) manga from 2010.)

There was also a re-design sheet done for Yuri, and I will post that in the near future.
